About Me

 For years, I studied architecture and design, following a safe path. But inside, I always knew I was meant to create. I was just too afraid to follow my heart.

Three years ago, life brought me to Bergamo, Italy, and everything changed. I left my corporate career and took a chance on my childhood dream: to create.

Italy taught me that building a life around what makes us happy can be hard and uncertain, but it can also be the most meaningful choice. I am deeply grateful, and I will never look back.

 

     Today, I am a self-taught artist living and working in Bergamo, where I have my studio. My work is rooted in a love of nature, light, memory, and the quiet beauty of everyday life. I am drawn to classical landscape painting, studying how light, colour, atmosphere and emotion capture a fleeting moment.

I have always loved art and design in all forms — from beautiful interiors to the sudden change of the evening sky. Certain landscapes make me feel nostalgic, peaceful, and at home. Through my oil paintings, I try to hold on to those feelings and give them a lasting place on canvas.

 

     Over the past year and a half, I have also explored ceramics, finding another way to bring painting into daily life. My ceramic work transfers small painted images — inspired by famous art and simple scenes — onto objects that can be held and used. I love that art does not have to stay distant, but can become part of our surroundings.

This idea began with a childhood memory. I fell in love with one of Monet’s sunset paintings and wished I could own it, knowing I never could. That feeling stayed with me. It is part of why I paint today — because beauty should be shared and brought closer to everyday life.

 

     At the heart of everything I create is a simple desire: to capture fleeting beauty and give it a place to remain — whether on canvas or in clay.

My artistic journey is still unfolding. Through painting and ceramics, I keep rediscovering who I am, learning to slow down, notice, and preserve moments that might otherwise disappear.

 

     My real life began here — in Italy, surrounded by art, nature, light and freedom to create.
